NOTE TO ENTRANTS FROM JULIE WILLIAMS-KRISHNAN:
"Thank you for sharing your work around the theme “Vibrant”. The work was varied and the interpretation of the idea was engaging and ranged from the spiritual to the vernacular to the abstract. I enjoyed viewing all the images, which took me to inspiring places, celebratory events, powerful moments in nature, and strong voices of identity. It was hard to make choices regarding best imagery - it all has great value! In the end, I tried to stay on the lighter side of the theme, as I am looking for ways to stay positive in today’s world. The images I selected for mention could also hang well together on the wall. There were some very strong images that I did not include for a prize or honorable mention - so, do not be discouraged if you were not selected - keep up the good work! Thank you for the honor of jurying this call. And, keep the faith - there is much to celebrate in this life."

THEME: 'VIBRANT'

Julie says, "Vibrant-Definition: Pulsating with life, vigor, or activity (Merriam-Webster dictionary); Full of energy and life (Oxford Dictionary)

Let’s celebrate life. Show me your vim, your vigor, what you celebrate, what makes you feel alive! This call is for work that connects us to the moments that connect us to each other, the world, and the universe. It is summer, and the sun is shining and the birds are singing and the bees are buzzing. Let's take off our shoes and feel the grass between our toes and the hum of the universe at our fingertips. Let’s share wonderful moments that inspire. Shake off the darkness, celebrate the light!

Show me what you got! "
