Larry Chait says, "I work largely intuitively; my ideas for images come to me when I least expect them, determined by where I happen to find myself, what my mood is, and what thoughts happen to be floating in and out of my head. Most of them I forget straight away. It usually takes me a long time to appreciate my own work and its meaning. But I'm beginning to believe that it all has something to do with imposing order onto a chaotic world.
I am a Chicago photo-based artist who has been actively working since 2002. I studied at the MCA and Columbia College. My work has been in the MoCP’s Midwest Photographers Project, The Chicago Project at Edelman Gallery and the Contemporary Art Museum, St. Louis. I have exhibited widely throughout the country and internationally in 12 solo and more than 80 group exhibitions."

Virgil DiBiase says, "Like most people I’ve been isolated in my home during this pandemic.I am lucky to be surrounded by nature and wildlife as I live in rural Indiana
My photography has transformed exponentially within a short period of time. The past few years I’ve been working on a dementia portrait project and recently, without the ability to socially engage, my photography has transformed into perception and illusions including landscapes, nature, crows, swallows and bats. It’s like holding a magnifying glass and finding joy in the simple moments of lief in this incredibly cruel time in out history."
Virgil DiBiase (b.1963) lives in rural Indiana with his wife and a bunch of equines. He is a full time clinical neurologist, photographer, part time farm hand. His parents were Italian immigrants who moved to rural Salem Ohio in the 1950s. His father was a photographer and taught him how to develop B&W film and make gelatin silver prints in the basement darkroom. Back then everything was in B&W: TV, magazines, newspapers and photography. His father made beautiful family photos with his Leica and made big 8x10 prints. Black and white photography was his first language and so he continues to work in B&W.
He has exhibited his work in many juried group shows including Griffin Museum of Photography, Fort Wayne Museum of Art, Colorado Photographic Arts Center, Edition One Gallery, Soho Photo Gallery ,Providence Center for Photographic Arts and photo-eye Gallery in Santa Fe. He’s been published in B&W magazine, LFI Magazine, Burn Magazine, The Cresset, and recently Shots magazine. He’s had solo shows at the Rangefinder Gallery in Chicago, Strimbu Gallery at Valparaiso University and the Workspace Gallery in Lincoln Nebraska.
He’s been short listed three times for the Royal Photographic Society International Print Exhibition and has been a Critical Mass Finalist for the last 3 years. His work is in the permanent collection of the Fort Wayne Museum of Art. His work was selected for the Editors Choice award for Center Santa Fe in 2020.

Stanley Banos says, "Covid 19 has affected so many of us, in so many ways, in so many places. Many obey, cooperate or acquiesce; others rebel. No one knows how long it will last or how they will ultimately be affected- physically, financially, socially. It's a life changing crap shoot within the general crap shoot of life. And so... we carry on.
I have photographed 40+ yrs in B&W analog, in 2016 I began shooting digital color. Gabriella Fargnoli says, "Much of the work I have produced during 2020 is a reflection of the transformations I have undergone this year. Fully immersing myself in my photography after it having taken a backseat to my athletic career for much of my life, I found myself grappling with my sense of self and struggling to define who I am as only a photographer. These three photographs are part of a larger series entitled "It's Nice to Meet You" which explores my own feeling of meeting myself for the first time as an artist and how it feels to present yourself to others as an individual with a duality of seemingly polar interests and personalities.
After returning to my childhood home after leaving university due to the pandemic, I found this place of growth and development to be the right backdrop to not only my photographs but my own reflection as well."

Jo Ann Chaus says, "The work is a series of self-portraits in which I drape my body in remnants from my past, and of other women I'd known or could have known, and summon up reflective, psychological moments from their lives as I imagine them, mid century, the decade of my birth. In creating these personas I'm performing as, I'm building a bridge between them and me, then and now, attempting to understand them, and thus myself, and the influences that formed my early sense of identity, where image was a creation of how to present yourself to the world."
Jo Ann Chaus (b. 1954) is an American photographer from and based in the New York metro area. She holds two certificates from the International Center of Photography in New York City.
In 2016 Jo Ann self-published “Sweetie & Hansom”, a 60-image book with original text exploring family, relationships and loss.
Her current body of work, “Conversations with Myself”, is a collection of performative self-portraiture that explores concepts of women’s roles and identity, currently under edit for publishing. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, and she holds special recognitions and awards.
